The venue, connected to local primary school and its sport hall, has a large ground (3 ha) with wooden huts, where participants are accommodated, cantina, washing facilities and toilets, sauna, garden and a lot of sport facilities (trampolines, bikes, nets for volleyball, table tennis sets, etc.). Work The main focus of work will be on seashore cleaning on the mainland as well as on the small islands nearby such as Suur Pakri and Osmussaar. This work will be organised in cooperation with local forestry department and municipality of Nõva. The volunteering team will express solidarity with the local community and contribute to intergenerational co-operation and wellbeing by cleaning and tidying up public areas and parks as well as helping elderly people living in Nõva in some household and garden duties and doing some maintenance such as painting work with the camp site. The volunteers might also collect berries and herbs for senior population and plant pine trees. To promote sustainability we will also organise info events and a workshop on waste management with ideas how to reduce, reuse, and recycle things instead of just throwing away.
