"Climate Justice. Power. Responsibility. Youth Work."

8.12-17.12.2026

In this training, you will face climate change as a question about power, responsibility and inequality, translated into what you can actually run with fifteen teenagers on a Tuesday evening. You work on real situations you bring yourself, design methods in small teams, teach them to the group, and rewrite them from what you hear.

You will learn to:

  • explain climate justice in language a sixteen-year-old recognises, without moralising;

  • run a difficult discussion on purpose instead of surviving one by accident, using structures that stop the loudest three people owning the room;

  • step in when a conversation turns discriminatory, with several ways to do it that do not end the session;

  • answer misinformation;

  • adapt an activity for different abilities, different language confidence, and different amounts of energy left at the end of the day;

  • notice when a session asks too much of people emotionally, including of you.

What matters more is that each participant has a group of young people to try things out with afterwards, since everyone will run one activity at home within twelve weeks of the course.

The training is supported by Erasmus+ and covers travel expenses (according to the E+ reimbursement table), accommodation and meals for the duration of the project.
