Iso-Britannia
Kauttamme voi lähteä Britanniaan vapaaehtoistyöhön joko parin viikon pituisille vapaaehtoisleireille tai sitten medium term volunteer (MTV) -ohjelmaan, jossa oleskelun kesto on yleensä 3-6 kuukautta.
Britannian MTV-paikkoihin haku on useita kuukausia ennen aloituspäivää, sillä hakuprosessi viisumikäsittelyineen kestää oman aikansa. Isäntäjärjestö haluaisi haastatella hakijoita jo joulukuussa.

Elderflower Fields is looking for 8 volunteers to join their team for the upcoming festival. Elderlyflower is an independent festival that was designed especially for those with young children as an opportunity for little festival first timers to dip their ts into a magical world of music, fun and nature. Families return year after year for a weekend filled with new experiences, exploration and celebration. Elderflower Fields is an independent festival, created by So Sussex and put together by a small but hardworking time to create a magical experience for their audience. The rest of the festival is made up of friends, family and amazing volunteers
Volunteers will be part of the field team - the eyes and the ears of the festival. Volunteers will look after a specific area of the event and act as contact point for the guests.

CONCUKLTV01-24 - Camphill Tigh a'Chomainn, 01.06.2024 - 31.05.2025
Long term volunteering for 2 volunteers in the age 18-25
Tigh a’Chomainn is located near Aberdeen in Scotland, two hours away from Edinburgh in a beautiful setting. In Tigh a’Chomainn everyone lives together as a community supporting adults, some of whom have learning disabilities. The overall objective of the project is supporting and assisting adults with additional support needs, learning difficulties and mental health conditions in their day to day lives. Volunteers will undertake ancillary and personal care tasks, light domestic duties and general support for individuals. Camphill is a unique vocational experience as it is based on living and working with the residents.

CONCUKMTV01B-24 – YMCA Volunteer Leader Programme 2024 – 15th April 2024 – 13th October 2024.
Volunteers will ensure all visitors to YMCA Fairthorne Manor have an experience which embodies all the core values: Welcoming, Active, Listening, Inspiring, Caring, Exciting.
During the volunteers stay at Fairthorne Manor, you will act as a host to the incoming groups, leading on activities and games, running evening entertainments, ensuring mealtimes are running smoothly, taking part in the campfires, playing games with the younger children, welcoming families to the events generally making a big difference to the YMCA community!

Throughout your time volunteering with the YMCA Fairthorne, you will help to deliver the highest quality of care and curriculum in line with the 'YMCA way' and regulated guidelines. Keeping the YMCA core values at the heart of everything they do, Welcoming, Active, Listening, Inspiring, Caring and Exciting.
As a volunteer, you will inspire the youngest participants, through delivering a exciting, child led, play based curriculum utilising the outdoors where-ever possible! From taking children on walks to explore nature, to eating and teaching around a campfire, you will be there to support young children as they challenge themselves and develop throughout their time at YMCA Fairthorne Manor Nursery.
