EYE - Green Deal Challenges
Green Deal Challenges: The European Youth exchanges Experience

Green Deal Challenges: The European Youth Exchanges Experience (EYE) is a project that unites eight organizations from eight European countries around a common goal: to encourage young people to get involved in the green transition of the Green Deal. To achieve this, EYE relies on a participatory approach, where learning through experience and concrete action against climate change are at the heart of the project. The project uses a unique and innovative format: 100% green youth exchanges, organized simultaneously and linked by a unifying mega-game. The project runs from December 2025 to November 2027.
Project objectives
Raise awareness, educate and promote young people's commitment to the Green Deal through the development of knowledge, understanding and capacity for action (experiential learning) through real-life, concrete situations.
Generate change through play, cooperation and collective intelligence, and propose new models not only for youth exchanges but also for European mobility in general.
Raise awareness of climate issues and encourage people to adapt their daily behaviour accordingly. Promote the development of green skills and environmental intelligence.
Foster a sense of European identity and a desire among young people to act as European citizens and participate in shaping the Europe of tomorrow at their own level.
Adapt youth work to the challenges and expectations of young people and improve the skills of youth organisations and youth workers.
Project Activities
Development of an educational, entertaining, competitive mega game in the style of an ‘ideathon’, in which young people are the players themselves.
For two summers in a row, four green youth exchanges with 25 young people each will take place at the same time in different countries (eight youth exchanges in total).
Creation of 48 educational learning boxes (short videos and infographics) and a web app to provide thematic access to the Green Deal, which will serve as the basis for the mega game.
