Tarjoamme sinulle mahdollisuuden osallistua kahdelle kansainväliselle vapaaehtoisleirille touko-kesäkuussa:
Koroinen Community Camp 18.-29.5.2025
Elävän Kulttuurin Koroinen ry edistää luonnonmateriaalien kestävää ja moninaista käyttöä sekä ekologisesti kestävää elämäntapaa ja permakulttuuria. Yhdistys järjestää myös yleisölle avoimia kulttuuritapahtumia ja monenlaisia kursseja. Toimintaa värittävät kestävät arvot ja monikulttuurisuus.
Vapaaehtoiset pääsevät mukaan monenlaisiin tehtäviin kuten yhteisöpellon perustamiseen, taimikasvatukseen, vieraslajitorjuntaan, niittyjen hoitoon sekä Koroisten kevätpäivät -viikonloppufestarin järjestämiseen. Vastineeksi työstä vapaaehtoisille tarjotaan yhteismajoitus (oma makuupussi mukaan) sekä yhteisesti valmistettava kasvisruoka. Muualta Suomesta tuleville matka kotipaikkakunnalta Turkuun julkisilla liikennevälineillä korvataan. Leiri on tarkoitettu täysi-ikäisille.
Koroisten maatilalla voi uida joessa, soutaa soutuveneellä, saunoa, viettää aikaa historiallisessa miljöössä ja
luonnon rauhassa kuin myös taidepuistossa. Tila sijaitsee Aurajokilaaksossa suosittujen ulkoilureittien tuntumassa.
Turun palvelut ja vapaa-ajanviettomahdollisuudet ovat lähellä ja julkinen liikenne hyvin saavutettavissa.

Tipula 29.6.-13.7.2025
Tipulan kulttuuriyhdistys ry edistää kansainvälisiä tutkija- ja taiteilijaresidenssejä ja järjestää tapahtumia ja konsertteja. Tipulan vanha puutarha, lähellä tuotettu ruoka ja tilaa ympäröivät metsät ja viljelysmaat tarjoavat hedelmällisen maaperän ekologisesti kestävän elämäntavan edistämiseen. Tipulassa asustaa myös pieneläimiä.
Vapaaehtoisten tehtävänä on auttaa avoimet puutarhat -tapahtuman järjestelyissä sekä vanhan ladon kunnostamisessa. Työn ohessa vapaaehtoiset pääsevät oppimaan kestävyydestä, kiertotaloudesta ja ympäristövastuullisuudesta.
Vastineeksi työstä vapaaehtoisille tarjotaan yhteismajoitus 2-4 hengen huoneissa ja yhteisesti valmistettava ruoka. Suihku- ja wc-tilat ovat jaettuja, ja vapaaehtoiset pääsevät saunomaan Tipulan tynnyrisaunassa.
Tipula sijaitsee pienessä Mudaisten kylässä Laitilassa. Muualta Suomesta tuleville matka kotipaikkakunnalta Laitilaan julkisilla liikennevälineillä korvataan. Leiri on tarkoitettu täysi-ikäisille.

Koroinen Community Camp in Turku 19.-29.5.
This international work camp is meant for adults interested in sustainable development, permaculture, community living and event organising.
Tasks: Field work to establish the Koroinen community field, seedling cultivation, invasive species control,
meadow management activities, organizing tasks for the Koroinen Spring Days weekend festival.
The camp offers participation in the sustainability transformation work of the historic Koroinen farm, increasing
self-sufficient production, securing biodiversity, participating in the creation of a community event.
Accommodation is inside the main house on mattresses provided, own sleeping bags needed. Vegetarian food will be cooked together. No participation fee.
Koroinen historical farm is a nature location, on the beautiful river side valley of Aura-river. The farm is
located less than 2 km of the city center. Walking and bicycle trails to the city center and upstream the
riverside pass through the farm. Koroinen farm is permaculture center and a transition movement actor with
25 years long history of sustainable development work. On the farm can be found community gardening, plot
gardening, crafts workshops, biodiversity art park, sauna, swimming in the river and a, rowing boat.

Tipula in Laitila 29.6.-13.7.
The Cultural Organisation of Tipula pursues to provide the residences for artists from various fields and develop the activity based on the needs of the creative work. They also organize concerts, camps and events in Tipula and further productions of publications and exhibitions. The organization upkeeps an old garden of self-grown and near-by produced food, surrounded by forests, old farmland and wheatfields. Their goal is to reach out to create international bonds, to enhance ecological values and sustainable, environmentally friendly way of life.
During the first week of the camp the volunteers will do gardening work and prepare for the Open Gardens -event. During the second week the participants will renovate and paint old barn doors. The volunteers will get to know the sustainable way of living of the host organisation and learn more about the themes of the camp through tasks and activities.
The accommodation will be organized in rooms of 2-4 people. There will be a shared sauna, shower and toilets. The volunteers will cook their own meals in small teams.
Tipula is a small village, surrounded by forests and agricultural land. The nearest cities are Laitila, Rauma and Turku. The west coast of Finland is the oldest part of the country. There are many historical towns for the volunteers to visit, as well as beautiful nature to explore.
